Brazil CSP steel Mill
The largest overseas steel plant construction project that will go down
in Korean construction history.
The CSP (Companhia Siderúrgica do Pecém) plant, an integrated steel mill in Brazil, is the biggest single steel plant project
undertaken by a Korean constructor.
The CSP plant is the symbol of Korea-Brazil economic partnership
between POSCO, Dongkuk Steel, and VALE, the largest iron ore
company in Brazil .The total investment amounts to 5.5 billion dollars,
and as many as 10,000 construction workers were put in every day
for 4 years to build the steelworks, which is capable of producing
3 million tons of semi-finished steel products (slabs) a year. The plant is complete with blast furnaces, a raw material yard, as well as sintering,
iron making (smelting furnace), steel making, and casting plants.

PANAMA Colon Gas to Power
LNG terminal that put the environment first and large-scale integrated plants
at high-efficiency gas turbine
power plant.
The gas-to-power (GtP) business in COLON, Panama is a massive integrated EPC project that involved the construction of a GtP
power generation facility and anLNG terminal that supplies gas
in COLON, located about 70 km away from Panama City, the
capital of Panama.
The power generation plant in COLON built by POSCO E&C is
the largest in the country and is capable of supplying electricity to approximately 300,000 households simultaneously. Having
successfully constructed numerous power plants with an accumulated capacity of 13GW and multiple LNG terminals in Korea and abroad,
POSCO E&C has the capability to design and construct optimum GtP
plants following the ESG trend that will soon replace coal power plants
as the total solution provider of energy plants.

INDONESIA PT.KRAKATAU Steel Mill
The first integrated steel mill construction in Southeast Asia.
Krakatau Steel (PT.KP Steel Mill), Indonesia is the first
integrated steel mill in Southeast Asia.
PT.KP steel mill is the symbol of a Korea-Indonesia economic partnership between POSCO and PT.KS (Krakatau Steel), a state-owned company
in Indonesia. The total investment amounts to 5 billion dollars, with more
than 7,100 construction workers involved in the project. Operation of the PT.KP Steel Mill in Indonesia madeit possible to procure high-quality steel
on its own, and the competitiveness of the steel demanding industry increased.

VIETNAM LSP TANK FARM
The first petrochemical complex in Vietnam built by POSCO E&C.
The Tank Farm project in Vietnam was the country’s first petrochemical complex construction project with investment
from the SCG Group. POSCO E&C carried out a total of three projects as a package—the Tank Farm, Jetty, and the site development.

POSCO FUTURE M Rechargeable Battery Anode Material Plant, Sejong
Development of the new growth
engine of POSCO E&C by buildinga smart factory producing secondary
cell materials.
The cathode plant in Sejong by POSCO FUTURE M, is a high-techfactory that manufactures 45,000 tons of anodes, which
are used in secondary cells. In the project, POSCO E&C
introduced smart construction methods for the first time in
plant construction in Korea.
Amidst the global mega trend represented by low carbonand eco-
friendly initiatives, POSCO E&C is joining in and creating a robust
engine for growth by building a smart factory for secondary cell materials.

POHANG HWANHO SUNRISE PARK SPACE WALK
The largest interactive sculpture, Pohang Space Walk
The Space Walk installed in Pohang Hwanho Sunrise Park is
the first interactive sculpture in Korea to climb 717 stairs.
With a maximum height of 24.7m and a total length of 333m, the Space
Walk is designed to see a panoramic viewof nearby attractions such as Hwanho Sunrise Park, the steel mill, Yeongil Bay, and Yeongildae Beach while walking along the track. In addition, the smart construction
technique was applied to make the installation safer and more precise.
